Shalom!
We are the Sofrim On Site - Scribes, Educators and
Master Storytellers!
A father and son team - we have found that being a
Sofer entails great responsibility. This is a
spiritual work as the Torah is everlasting and we
answer to a Higher Authority. We enjoy teaching
others about the holiness and wonders of what we do.
We have become known as “Sofer On Site”. Instead of
congregations sending Torahs to the Sofer, we travel
to the Torahs. We regularly visit communities,
schools and other organizations across the country.
We provide professional STa”M services on location,
while sharing the wondrous insights of this
tradition with the people we meet. We specialize in
repairing, maintaining and supplying Sifrei Torah,
Tefillin and Mezuzot, while demonstrating the art of
the Sofer and inspiring audiences about the
uniqueness of the Hebrew letters.
Over the past 20 years, we have provided STa”M
services to communities in Israel, South Africa,
South America, the United States and Canada.
Together we offer a unique, diverse, educational and
professional experience. Our forte is our
exceptional ability to relate to Jews of all ages
and backgrounds as we have been through the main
streams of Judaism ourselves.The
Westminster Czech Memorial Scrolls Trust has
accepted Sofer on Site as an authorized Sofer to
perform restorations on the precious Czech memorial
scrolls located with congregations worldwide. Sofer
on Site is also an official “Safe Haven” for the
Southeast United States for Czech Memorial Scrolls
“in between homes."
One of the most profound experiences a Sofer can
provide is a meaningful and inspirational Torah
Journey - Project. The Sefer Torah is the prized
inheritance of the Jewish people. It moves us,
motivates us and unites us as a nation. For 3000
years, we have learned to live our lives through the
teachings, guidance and messages of the Torah. We
are always searching for new ways to bring ourselves
closer to it.
